Martin Edward Galvin Fund for Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis Research

What is Quest for Breath

The Galvin family was motivated by the plight of their family and that of many others, to commit to changing the course of IPF.  In partnering with the Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at the Univeristy of Michigan Health System, they formed Quest for Breath (QFB), an organization created to raise money for the Martin Edward Galvin Fund for IPF research.  All donations to QFB are used for IPF research and for the QFB support group.  We are dedicated to supporting IPF patients and their families and to finding better treatment options and a cure for IPF.

"We created the Quest for Breath because we are so proundly grateful for what we have and because we want to try to make the world a better place by our actions and presence in it.  As we commit our energies to this important and worthy cause, it is our hope that others will be motivated to similarily embrace their own gifts and the life that we have been given."
